\nPerfume has been around for four thousand years.<\/strong> Archaeologists discovered a perfume factory consisting of 43,000 square feet which is roughly the size of an acre of land. Can a perfume actually perform a miracle and make one younger?<\/em> No, of course not but a perfume can have an effect on the people who smell it permeating from your body hence producing a direct anti-aging effect. Odors have an effect on how we feel about ourselves and how others perceive us.<\/p>\n

Instead opt for lighter florals and citrus mixes. One study by the perfume house of Harvey Prince showed that women wearing scents with a blend of citrus and florals were perceived to be on average 6.7 years younger than their actual age. A later study showed the combination of mango and pink grapefruit was the olfactory (the perception of smells) antidote to aging as people were perceived as up to 12 years younger than their chronological age!<\/p>\n
