In this new Scents of Style segment, we have the honor to talk to Alana Hosn, a content creator based in LA of a mixed Persian and Mexican heritage. Her passions include appreciating the beauty in everything, staying active by exercising daily, creating flavorful dishes with bold spices in the comfort of her home, and cherishing meaningful moments with her loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SB: Do you follow a particular personal fragrance philosophy in your life?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve loved fragrance for as long as I can remember. I remember stealing perfume spritzes from my older sister and samples from my mom’s vanity. She always taught me that getting a sample of perfume is the best way to test a new scent to make sure it works for your body. Over the years, my scent preference has evolved. I’d also argue that it’s ever-changing depending on my mood, where I am, or what I’m wearing. One little tradition I have is buying scents in different places to remind me of my travels. I have limited edition scents from New York, Paris, Tulum, and the French Riviera to name a few.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

SB: How do you perceive the relationship between style and scent?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Style and scent play a big role in my book. I love elevating my outfits with a beautiful scent or picking scents based on my plans or outfits. For a spring daytime event, I love something fresh and floral and for a night I like something sexy and edgy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SB: Does the Parfums de Marly Delina la Rosee fragrance align with your personal style vibe?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Spring and Summer, the bright colors and girlier side of my style comes out so a more feminine, floral scent matches my style better! I love pinks, white linens, lightweight silks, and elevated dresses which definitely fit the Delina la Rossee vibe!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
