Our next guest in the Scents of Style series is a true fashion convert, connoisseur, and self-professed workaholic. David Abittan, a fashion and lifestyle content creator, who you\u2019ll find on the \u2018gram as @davidabittan7<\/a> told us that when he was younger he used to hate shopping, and now it’s one of his favorite things to do! While he\u2019s very passionate about his work and finds great pleasure in it, he balances it by enjoying family time. His favorite scents are built around sweet and citrus accords, but he\u2019s also partial to fragrances that feature bold leather and musk notes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

We sat down with David to discuss all things fashion and scents, as well as his favorite brand from our Saks Select collection, Tiziana Terenzi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SB: Hi David, can you tell us how you perceive the connection between fashion and scents?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DA: Style and scents go hand in hand. For me, fashion is such a big part of my life I could never imagine wearing the same clothes every day. But with fragrances too often that’s what we do. I think Scentbird does a great job of giving people the opportunity to experiment with several fragrances to really build a collection of fragrances the same way someone would build a wardrobe. At that point, you really pair the scent with the occasion similar to how you’d style an outfit.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SB: We know you really admire the Italian niche perfume house, Tiziana Terenzi. How does this particular brand suit your style vibe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DA: I felt like these fragrances had a great range! I’m new to the details of scents but I trust my instincts similar to how I trust myself with fashion. So when trying these new fragrances they each inspired a different feeling. That feeling inspires me to dress a certain way. Whether it brings on summer vibes or reminds me of a late date night.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SB: Do you have a favorite Tiziana Terenzi scent? If yes, please explain why you picked that certain scent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DA: It\u2019s always hard to choose a favorite fragrance, just like it’s hard to choose a favorite outfit. But the one that stood out to me initially was Cassiopeia. It really gave me summer vibes with the passionfruit, lemon, and cassis tones and this inspired me to style an outfit suited for a party in the Hamptons. Light colors, classy vibe, linen material. Very light and breezy. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

David truly believes that no outfit is finished without a scent! His GRWM video is unique because, for a change, he decided to build the outfit based off the scent. Normally the scent will be the last thing he adds to an outfit to bring it all together, so this was a fun change-up. Watch the video here: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
