Introducing our next guest on the Scents of Style series, Marisa Herr, a full-time corporate professional and content creator with a passion for fragrance. Born in Thailand and adopted at a young age, Marisa, who you’ll find on the ‘gram as @marisaherr uses content curation as a creative outlet to express herself and share her love of fragrances with others. SB: Can you share your personal approach to fragrance and how it influences your style?
MH: I love sensual, warm, and musky fragrances, but I also enjoy feminine florals depending on my vibe for the day. I love fragrances – it’s the best accessory and perfect finisher to any outfit and it’s something I can’t walk out of the door without.
SB: In your opinion, how are style and scent interconnected?
MH: I choose my fragrances based on my outfit. If I’m feeling edgy, I gravitate more toward warmer, sensual scents, and if I am feeling more boho and summery then I gravitate towards feminine and floral scents. I believe that style and scent go hand in hand and complement each other very well.
SB: How does the House of Bo – La Mar fragrance align with your personal style and vibe?
MH: I believe House of Bo—La Mar is very luxurious, chic, and sophisticated, and it matches well with my style vibe. I am a Gemini so I feel like I have different types of styles depending on how I feel, and La Mar suits the days when I feel like dressing up with a blazer dress or wearing a sophisticated outfit.
