Emotional and dazzling, delicate and refined perfume, La Roue de La Fortune 10 by Dolce & Gabbana is a deeply mysterious scent wrapped in floral luxury.
The perfume seduces you with its crisp, dramatic opening of delectable pineapple notes spread over cloud of white florals.
The iris and patchouli are aiming for the warm spicy, dark heart of this olfactory creation’s soft balsamic nature, with a dash of oriental vanilla which turns up the heat just a little more.
The perfume’s character is undeniably sweet and powdery, but I feel like the perfumer wanted to steer away from the cloyingly sweet scents and introduce a perfume which is sweet and fresh at the same time.
A scent which never leaves you bored, which permeates into your existence and creates new adventures just for you, enabling you to enjoy the blend of sweet and spicy notes with light oriental outcome that doesn’t overpower or puts your sweet limits to test.
Personally I’m not a big fan of strong perfumes, and D&G 10 has very strong opening, however all I need to do is wait for 15 minutes to really enjoy the show.
The Italian quality is undeniably present, you can sense it, especially in the dry down, so if you are into classy perfumes, this one must go on your to-try list. That being said, if your cup of tea are citrusy, nicely blended floral or oceanic perfumes, you will need to approach it with open mind.
