Vetiver, an essential oil derived from the tropical grass root is estimated to be used in about 40 percent of all perfumes currently on offer, which is why we decided to turn the spotlight on this popular note this week.

Vetiver is one of the main notes in classic perfumery. Its warm and luminous accents have always been used to convey a sense of timeless and discreet elegance,” according to Paola Paganini, Product Development & Innovation Director at Acqua di Parma.
