Gourmands With a Side of Juicy: 5 Delectably Ripe Perfumes We’re Wearing for Spring

When I browsed through the Google Trends report on the trending perfumes for Spring 2025, the results basically told me: Babe, wake up, gourmand notes are really taking over, moving beyond just baked goods and dessert menus to the whole pantry. Since balance is key in the universe, we’re especially drawn to those with juicy accords, where the soaked-up notes perfectly complement the sweet, saccharine layers. Proof? Cheesecakes. And more proof? These five delectable gourmand perfumes that smell like a French bakery inside a juice factory. Yes, that good.

Strawberry Shortcake x Scentbird

That rich vanilla butter creme with red, glazed strawberry jam on top, served along a giant heap of nostalgia is the dream scents of gourmand lovers. And in our unpretentious (we wanted to use unhumble, to be honest) opinion, this should be the number one gourmand perfume on all lists. Overripe strawberries dunked in rich bergamot zest, a dollop of whipped cream, seriously, are you going to say no to this? By the way, if you get the Strawberry Shortcake set, you’ll get a sheet of cute stickers, too, so the sweetness is real, y’all!

Cirque du Soleil L’eau de Parfum

Cirque du Soleil Leau de Parfum

If you’re reaching for a Cirque perfume, it has to live up to the name, right? It’s got to deliver the twists, turns, and put on a show, and this one absolutely does. It opens with buttered popcorn, cotton candy, and caramel, but somehow it’s soft and fluffy, like diving into a pink cloud where there’s no safety net, but you just know you’re safe. Red apples fully coated in caramel, and dusted in sandalwood, oh my, offer that kind of feel-good, whimsical joy, a merry commercial-like vibe where everything turns out just right. I need to stop before I start salivating, but let’s just end this with a note that if you enjoy gourmands, this one’s a real treat.

Memoire Archives Candy Shop

Memoire Archives Candy Shop

If you could borrow the TARDIS (thanks Doctor), and imagine yourself walking past your town’s best bakery or candy shop when you were six, the air would be filled with the sweet, sugary wonder of candies, chocolate, and vanilla soft serve. And it would smell exactly like this. You’d pay for the sugared peach candies and the watermelon-vanilla mix in a perfume bottle, but all the beauty, compliments, and nostalgia? Those are on the house.

Confessions Of A Rebel Cherry Bomb

CONFESSIONS OF A REBEL Cherry Bomb

Forget the sugar-coated innocence of your first fruity perfume. If you crave sugar, this scent’s got it, sprinkled over delicious praline. Cherry Bomb is a perfume about the longing of your senses to be in constant contact with the scent of ripe cherries bursting with juice that’s dripping slowly over your favorite sugared pralines and strawberries. It’s decadence personified, set on fire, and fueled by so many passionate sensations. It drives you to the edge, then quenches your need by dunking these aromas in a glass of cherry liquor. It’s a fulfillment of your longing, followed by a second, third, one-thousandth spritz.

Victoria’s Secret Tease

Victorias Secret Tease

Gardenia petals swirling in the vortex of Anjou pear juices and black vanilla is such a Tease to your senses. The crispness of pear adds a touch of freshness, while the rich vanilla lingers like a secret you can’t quite pin down, probably because Victoria wouldn’t share. It’s sweet, seductive, and playful all at once, and loves the heat of your skin.
